Beetroot pachadi Recipe: (Category: Raitas / Pachadis)

Ingredients: Beetroots- 2
Green chillies- 4
Jeera - to taste
Salt to taste
oil for seasoning
Fresh curds- 2 cups
Method: Grate beetroot. Put some oil in a
Kadai add jeera and some mustard
and when it splutters add the grated
beetroot and green chillies and saute
till it is half cooked. Cool it to
atmospheric temperature and then
add the sauted beetroot to it and
serve immediately. If you do not have
fresh curds; add to the sour curds
equal quantity of boiled and cooled
milk
