COCONUT MILK CORIANDER RICE Recipe: (Category: Indian Rice Recipes)

Ingredients: RICE - 250GM
GINGER - 50GM
GARLIC - 50GM
CORIANDER LEAVES - BUNCH
CLOVE - 2NO
CARDAMON - 2NO
CINNAMOM - 2NO
GREEN CHILLIES - 5NO
GARA MASALA POWDER -
25GM
COCONUT GRATE - 100GM
ONION SLICE - 200GM
CASHEWNUT - 10GM
Method: 1. SOAK RICE IN WATER AND DRAIN
WELL
2. GRIND TOGETHER CORIANDER
LEAVES, GREEN CHILLIES, HALF OF
THE ONION, GINGER, GRALIC AND
GARA MASALA POWDER GRIND A
SMOOTH PASTE.
4. GRATE COCONUT AND MAKE MILK
USING HOT WATER
5. HEAT IN OIL A PAN ADD
CINNAMON, CLOVES, CARDAMOM,
AND SLICED TILL FRY GOLDEN
BROWN.
6. THEN ADD GROUND PASTE AND
SAUTE FOR 5 MINUTES TILL RAW
SMELL DISAPPEAR.
7. THEN ADD DRAIN RICE TO THE
MASALA.
8. SAUTE THE RICE FOR FEW
MINUTES.
9. NOW ADD THE 1:2 OF COCONUT
MILK USING WATER.
10. BOIL FOR 15 MINUTES AND
LOOKS LIKE BIRYANI.
11. GARNISH WITH FRIED
CASHEWNUT SEVRE HOT.
