bread dahi vada Recipe: (Category: Chutneys / Pickles)

Ingredients: 2 bread slices(edges removed)
green chutney (used in sandwich)
tomato ketchup
coriander leaves finely chopped
sweet chutney(used in bhel)
sev (thin variety)
boondi(used in raitha)
potatoes (boiled and cut in slices)
salt to taste -
yogurt - 4 cups
chat masala/jeera power to taste
nuts (cashwe/ground/chana)to garnish
dates/cherry to add look to the
dahi vada
Method: apply green chutney inside the bread slices
and cut them into 4 squares -place them in
a plate (each apart) and pour 2 cups of
yogurt over it and keep it in the
refrigerator - after 2/3 hours u can see
the bread little fluffy-now add 2 cups dahi
over it again-
take out each portion- add potatoes
/sev/boondi/sweet chutney- sprinkle chat
masala /jeera powder and coriander leaves
over it- add the nuts all over and place
the dates and cherry on the top of it - u
will find a new chat item in ur recipe -
enjoy it during summer with cool yogurt
-(no oil in this dahi vada) -children's
fond chat item it is!!!
